The House of Brotherhood  was born from a wealth of experience, skills, and a passion for creating and restoring beautifully crafted, design led interior furnishings.

Based in a beautiful rural studio near Truro, Cornwall, they aim to create furniture and furnishings that are as individual as the customers they are designed for.  ​

With a masters in design and a degree in textile design, both gained from Falmouth University, Vicki-Sue Brotherhood is experienced in traditional and contemporary methods and techniques. After a career in the design industry, Vicki-Sue joined Paul Mason at Mason and Brotherhood, where she has spent the last five years studying under Paul, who has over 40 years experience as as upholsterer. 

Vicki-Sue's ethos is function in art and design, "My passion as a designer/maker is to always design with functionality in mind. I feel that Art & Design needs to have a purpose in the world and therefore I expect my textile designs to appear on furniture that is both beautiful and perfectly adapted for the intended purpose."
